An Emerging Artist & Young Talent in the World of Dance

Simza's dance has often been described as like water, her performances capturing an intuitive lyrical flow that has moved audiences since she was very young, her first solos winning in Istanbul and London at age 10 and 11. Now training at Rambert School, she is emerging as an artist with a distinctive voice. Her competition successes, including international placements and seven consecutive national championships, opened the door to conservatoire training, and her focus has shifted from the competition circuit to the rigorous development of her artistry at one of the world's leading dance institutions. Her magnetic presence and subtle engagement with audiences express a physical communication sharing wordless stories that generate a powerful response. With dedication, technical awareness, enchanting stage appeal and creative energy, Simza is at a pivotal moment where intensive training and emerging professional interest are converging.

Current Focus

Now in her first year at Rambert School on the FD/BA Hons Ballet & Contemporary Dance course, Simza is immersing herself in intensive training. The journey from her hometown studio in Bodrum to one of the world's leading conservatoires has been remarkable, made possible by community support and a generous grant from a private arts foundation. As her skills develop through her education, she is beginning to attract professional interest. This is the critical moment where years of dedication are taking shape, but it also brings urgent need: Simza requires sponsorship for her second year at Rambert to continue this training and build on the foundation so many have already invested in. Securing this funding will enable her to continue her vocational development and fulfill the promise of her talent.

Recognition & Impact

Simza showcasing lyrical flow and technical precision in contemporary solo practice

Simza’s commitment and distinctive style earned significant recognition on the competition circuit. She placed 5th and 9th at the DWC 2024 world finals with her Jazz and Contemporary solos, winning scholarships for masterclasses in the UK and Spain. She achieved 1st place for the 7th consecutive year at the Turkish Dance Sport Federation awards and was named Best Young Choreographer 2025 at di Art International. As a teacher and choreographer, she guided students ages 4–16, with her original choreographies earning top results at 2025 national competitions. These achievements opened the door to Rambert School, where the focus of her work is now evolving from competitive success to professional development.
